“Overall, it was a great experience. The anticipated prices can be absurdly high at times, but if you wait a few minutes and check again, they will almost always drop. My greatest gripe is that I’ve had multiple situations where a driver is matched to me and appears to be on the way, only to cancel after I’ve already waited a long time. My other gripe is with the app itself. It can be difficult to locate a ride that you have reserved in advance. It’s not easy to check on pre-booked rides. – Torri.P”

I have discovered design flaws that have cost me money. For example, in one case the driver’s phone lost connection to the application at the drop off point. As a result I was charged $11 for a $5 trip because the app didn’t register that the trip was over. If the algorithm were to track the GPS signal of both the driver and the passenger cell phones, it would be able to recognize when the passenger had reached their destination if the GPS signal from the driver dropped.

Sometimes the app is sorta slow but usually if it needs an update…..For the most part it’s ready to use has several decent options including bik or, scooter rental and public transportation routes and times {loCAL RTD} SO that makes a huge difference in rates and the options being fairly affordable, even the XL option. Or luxury options are budget friendly. They’ve also started including the option to rent by the hour and actual car rentals via the app, which just adds flexibility.

I’ve used Uber before and I liked it a lot, I switched phones and did not reinstall the app because I just don’t use it that much. However when I went to I went to find a ride the lyft add came up and I thought I’d try out lyft It gave me 3 options as far as how fast the ride could come and what the prices would be and then when I hit the button to begin the trip all of a sudden the rate changed on me and went up. Unacceptable price! I went back to uber and the rode cost over 40% LESS!
